Projects with younger people
Between the Tracks (BTT) and Between the Tracks Plus (BTT+)
BTT and BTT+ are lively after school clubs for young people. Both clubs mix support with school work and fun learning activities such as cookery, sport, board games, art + crafts, and occasional trips.
Both clubs are for young people living on or near the Lairdale, Peabody Hill and Rosendale Road estates.
BTT is for young people in school years 4 to 7 (age 8-12). The club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.45 to 5.45 in the Community Hall on the Peabody Hill Estate (courtesy of the Tenants Association).
BTT+ is for young people in school years 8 to 11 (age 13-16) and meets on Wednesdays from 6.30 to 8.30, also in the Community Hall on the Peabody Hill Estate.
To join, just turn up at the start time. BTT members should come along with a parent or other responsible adult.
Both clubs are free, though we make a small charge for trips.
